| Inspired by their experience with The Mooncurser's Handbook, SharkBait decided to try their hand at running an event. The result was SNAP 2: Fools Rush In. It was a success and set such a high bar that it took the Seattle area two years to produce another SNAP. (Either that or everyone else was too busy to put one together.) | |

| In May, SharkBait hit a new high in Shinteki: Decathlon 4,
solving 10 puzzles and 6 bonuses to again place fifth among a very
distinguished field. Highlights included a very fast defeat of the
champion Shintekimon player Superstar, a puzzle that looked very
familiar to all (especially Jennifer), and actually reaching the end
location prior to the end of the event. Lowlights included too
much candy at site 10.

April found the team rolling old-school in Midnight Madness 2:
Back to Basics. They're still not sure how the placings shook
out, but after Jennifer finished her hissy fit, SharkBait was one of the
lead teams going into the final clue. Sadly, they were not one of
the lead teams leaving the final clue.

their highest Shinteki ranking yet and a tie for highest ever ranking in
a game. Crew: Derek, Irwin, Jessica |

Team SharkBait & Chums remotely beta-tested the Google Puzzlehunt
in the spring of 2007. Quote of the weekend: Did you make a map? Crew: Derek, Irwin, Jessica, and several local puzzlehunters |

If you haven't seen the video from the team's application for the No More Secrets game
in May, you haven't truly
lived. Check it out
here. Highlights included middle-of-the-night charades (and the chance to hear a neighboring team discuss testicles) and Jennifer's fine demonstration of moving two. inches. per second. The game started on an especially high note (for Jessica anyway) with a marriage proposal from a Briny Deep competitor. Curse those pirates, distracting team members with shiny things! Crew: Andy, Derek, Irwin, Jennifer, Jessica, Scott |
